Government’s View on the New Pay Commission

Some time ago, the Ministry of Finance clarified that the government is not considering the formation of a new Pay Commission at present. Additionally, when Finance Minister Pankaj Chaudhary responded to a question in the Rajya Sabha, he stated that the 8th Pay Commission will not be formed yet, and no plans have been made for its establishment.

Letter Regarding the New Pay Commission

The National Council Joint Consultative Machinery (NC JCM) sent a letter to the Cabinet Secretary on December 3rd, urging the immediate formation of the new Pay Commission.
